Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it!
Also, for anyone seeking holiday-related reading, please see this intersting article/slideshow about the evolution of the nativity scene. Also, did you know that Oliver Cromwell's government cancelled Christmas from 1647 to 1660? And I thought the return of Charles II was just a boon for lovers of pirates and smutty, witty plays. Ha ha, filthy puritans.

A very merry Yule to all those who celebrate it! Wishing you warm blankets to sleep away the long nights.
I heard a bird sing,
In the dark of December.
A magical thing,
And sweet to remember.
"We are nearer to Spring,
Than we were in September!"

I love Lululemon! They`ve deliberately subverted VANOC's stupid Olympic and Paralympic Marks Act, the horrible law that makes it illegal to mention words like "Gold", "Medal", "Winter" and "2010" to promote your business in or around Vancouver without special permission. Businesses have already been forced to change their names. The Act is just one of a series of troubling restrictions of Canadian's freedom of expression being taken by VANOC and the government. In response to this ridiculousness, Lululemon has introduced it's latest line of clothing, entitled, “Cool Sporting Event That Takes Place in British Columbia Between 2009 & 2011 Edition”. In an age of risk aversion and chilling effects, it warms my heart to see someone creatively fighting back.
